Description
A Copycat recipe for Chick-Fil-A Grilled Nuggets so you can enjoy these on Sunday too! Juicy, flavorful, and easy to make at home with simple ingredients including dill pickle juice and a blend of seasonings.
Ingredients
- 1 Pound boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into small pieces
- ⅓ Cup dill pickle juice (can use less for less pickle taste)
- ¼ Cup milk
- 2 tsp powdered sugar
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- ¼ tsp garlic powder or garlic salt
- ¼ tsp paprika
- ¼ tsp seasoned salt
- A drizzle of olive oil or sunflower oil
Instructions
1. Cut the boneless skinless chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces, trimming any fat.
2. Place the chicken into a large baggie or bowl along with the pickle juice and milk. Allow to marinate for at least 30 minutes or overnight for best flavor.
3. Remove the chicken from the marinade and lay on paper towels. Pat dry to remove excess moisture.
4. Heat a saucepan over medium-high heat and drizzle in olive oil or sunflower oil.
5. In a bowl, toss the chicken with powdered sugar, salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and seasoned salt until evenly coated.
6. Add the seasoned chicken to the heated pan and cook for 8–10 minutes, tossing regularly until cooked through. Adjust cook time as needed based on your stove and chicken size.
7. Once fully cooked, remove from heat and serve with your favorite dipping sauce like honey mustard or leftover Chick-Fil-A sauce packets.
Notes
You can also grill the nuggets instead of pan-cooking for added smoky flavor.
This recipe yields about 24 nuggets, so serving size is approximately 6 nuggets per person.
