Ingredients
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 bell pepper, chopped (any color)
- 2 cups fresh spinach
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: shredded cheese, fresh herbs for garnish
Instructions
1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Let it heat for about a minute.
2. Add the chopped onion and bell pepper to the skillet. Sauté for about 3-5 minutes until they start to soften and turn golden.
3. Add the ground turkey to the skillet. Break it up with a spatula and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
4. Sprinkle in the garlic powder, onion powder, soy sauce, salt, and pepper. Stir well to coat everything.
5. Fold in the spinach and cook for another 2-3 minutes, until wilted and fully incorporated.
6. If desired, sprinkle shredded cheese on top during the last minute of cooking.
