This One-Pan Boursin Chicken is a quick and indulgent dish that transforms ordinary chicken into a gourmet meal.
Ingredients
For the Chicken:
- 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons olive oil (can substitute with avocado oil)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
For the Sauce:
- 8 ounces Boursin cheese (Garlic & Fine Herbs; other cream cheeses can be substituted)
- 1 cup heavy cream (half-and-half can work in a pinch)
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon thyme (fresh or dried)
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
For Garnish:
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.
2. Season the chicken breasts generously with salt and black pepper.
3. Sear the chicken in a skillet with olive oil for 2–3 minutes per side.
4. Sauté minced garlic in the same skillet until fragrant, about 1 minute.
5. Combine cream, Boursin cheese, thyme, and grated Parmesan in the skillet.
6. Place your seared chicken into a baking dish. Pour the creamy sauce over the chicken.
7. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 20 minutes.
8. Uncover and bake for an additional 10–15 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
9. Rest the chicken for 5 minutes before serving.
10. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with the sauce poured over the top.
Notes
Serve it over rice or pasta for an even heartier meal.
