Description

This Irish Cream Oreos Recipe features delicious truffles made of cream cheese and Oreos, perfect for festive occasions.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 16 oz Oreo Cookies – The essential base, feel free to swap for any chocolate sandwich cookie.
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese – Softened for easy blending.
  • 2 tablespoon Irish Cream Liqueur – Optional, can substitute with vanilla extract.
  • 10 oz Green Candy Melts – Perfect for a festive green shell, or use white chocolate + food coloring.
  • 1 cup Assorted Sprinkles – Choose colors to match your event.

Instructions

1. Pulse the Oreo cookies in a food processor until they reach fine crumbs.

2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cookie crumbs with softened cream cheese and the optional Irish cream liqueur. Stir until a dough-like consistency forms.

3. Refrigerate your mixture for about 30 minutes to help it firm up.

4. Roll tablespoon-sized portions of the mixture into small balls and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

5. Return the rolled balls to the fridge for another 15–20 minutes.

6. Melt the green candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl in short bursts, stirring until smooth.

7. Dip each chilled ball into the melted candy, allowing any excess to drip off.

8. While the coating is still wet, sprinkle the assorted decorations on top.

Notes

Soften cream cheese before blending to avoid lumps.

Chill thoroughly for best texture.

Experiment with flavor variations.
