Description

This Easy Beef and Noodles recipe is a comforting and flavorful dish that’s perfect for a quick weeknight meal. Tender egg noodles are coated in a rich gravy with ground beef and a hint of Italian seasoning.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups uncooked egg noodles
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 23 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

1. Cook egg noodles in salted boiling water according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

2. While the noodles are cooking, brown ground beef and chopped onions in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Drain excess fat if necessary.

3. Stir in garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and Italian seasoning. Cook for 1 minute.

4. Sprinkle flour into the skillet and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly. Gradually pour in beef broth while stirring until smooth. Simmer for 5-10 minutes, or until the gravy thickens to your liking. Add a splash more broth if needed to adjust consistency.

5. Add cooked noodles to the skillet and toss with the beef mixture until well coated. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve immediately.
