- 1 lb chicken tenders
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Cooking spray
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
2. Set up three breading stations: one bowl with flour, one with whisked eggs and milk, and a third with breadcrumbs, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
3. Dredge each chicken tender in the flour, shaking off any excess.
4. Dip the floured chicken into the egg mixture, ensuring full coverage.
5. Press each tender into the breadcrumb mixture, coating thoroughly.
6. Place the breaded tenders on the prepared baking sheet and spray the tops lightly with cooking spray.
7. Bake for 18–20 minutes, flipping once halfway through, until golden, crispy, and cooked through.
8. Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauces.
Notes
For crispier tenders, make sure to spray them with cooking spray before baking. Turn halfway through baking for even browning. For a gluten-free version, substitute the flour and breadcrumbs with gluten-free alternatives.
