Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound halal smoked sausage
  • 4 cups baby potatoes, halved or quartered
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • Optional: 1/2 cup sour cream for serving

Instructions

2. Wash and cut baby potatoes into halves or quarters.

3. Slice smoked sausage into 1/4-inch rounds.

4. In a small bowl, mix ranch seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.

5. In a large mixing bowl, combine potatoes with olive oil and half of the seasoning mix; toss to coat evenly.

6. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the seasoned potatoes in a single layer.

7. Add sliced sausage on top of the potatoes evenly.

8. Roast for 35-40 minutes, stirring halfway through until golden brown.

9. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the dish and return to oven for an additional 5 minutes until melted.

10. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired and serve hot.

Notes

For a creamier finish, serve with a dollop of sour cream or drizzle over the top before serving.

Feel free to substitute turkey sausage or plant-based sausage alternatives.

Add chopped green onions or jalapeños for an extra kick.
