Description

This is the best spring fruit salad, made with fresh seasonal fruit and no added sugar. Naturally sweet and refreshing, it’s perfect for warm days and makes a vibrant snack or side dish for any spring meal.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 kiwis
  • 1 pound strawberries (organic preferred)
  • 1 mango
  • 1 apple (Granny Smith recommended)
  • ½ of a lemon

Instructions

1. Rinse all fruit thoroughly and pat dry with a kitchen towel.

2. Slice the apple into small chunks, leaving the peel on or removing it as preferred.

3. Cut the mango by removing the cheeks, then slicing into cubes and scooping from the peel.

4. Peel and slice the kiwi into chunks or thin round slices.

5. Remove the tops from the strawberries and slice into small pieces.

6. Add all prepared fruit to a medium mixing bowl.

7. Squeeze lemon juice (about 2 teaspoons or to taste) over the fruit and stir to combine.

8. Serve immediately and enjoy!


Notes

This recipe is naturally sweet with no sugar added. Best served fresh, but can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 1 day. Feel free to add blueberries, oranges, or grapes for variety.
