Description

These tantalizing BBQ Chicken Coleslaw Wraps are bursting with flavor! Tender chicken, crunchy coleslaw, and zesty BBQ sauce come together in a perfect handheld delight.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded
  • 1⁄2 cup BBQ sauce
  • 2 cups coleslaw mix (pre-packaged or homemade)
  • 1⁄4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1⁄4 cup chopped fresh cilantro (optional)
  • 1 ripe avocado, sliced (optional)
  • 1⁄2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)

Instructions

1. In a medium-sized bowl, combine the shredded chicken and BBQ sauce. Ensure the chicken is thoroughly coated with the sauce. Set aside.

2. In another bowl, mix the coleslaw mix with mayonnaise and apple cider vinegar. Add salt and pepper to taste. Stir until well combined.

3. Take a flour tortilla and lay it out flat on a clean surface.

4. Spread a portion of the BBQ chicken mixture evenly in the center of the tortilla.

5. Add a generous amount of coleslaw on top of the chicken.

6. If desired, sprinkle chopped cilantro, sliced avocado, and shredded cheddar cheese over the coleslaw.

7. Fold in the sides of the tortilla and tightly roll it up, starting from the bottom.

8. Repeat steps 3-7 with the remaining tortillas and filling ingredients.

9. Once all wraps are prepared, cut each wrap in half diagonally and serve immediately.


Notes

Use whole wheat tortillas for a healthier option.

For added crunch, include crushed tortilla chips inside the wrap.

If you prefer spicy wraps, add sliced jalapenos or a splash of hot sauce.
